Hi, I’m Sandra

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an undergraduate degree in Communications. I work primarily with adult clients, with a special focus on supporting women in midlife. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, creating a therapeutic space where safety, self-exploration, and growth are prioritized.

Drawing on clients’ existing strengths and inner resources, I help guide them toward meaningful, achievable goals that foster lasting change and personal fulfilment. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).

In addition, I hold certification in the Integration of Nutrition and Mental Health (CIMHP), which allows me to take a more holistic view of well-being, integrating lifestyle and nutrition principles alongside traditional talk therapy.

Outside of my counselling work, I find both healing and inspiration in nature and believe deeply in the transformative power of connection, both with the natural world and with others. It is a privilege for me to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
