Hi, I’m Olivia Hall

Registered Provisional Psychologist

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, domestic violence, and crisis situations. My experience has taught me that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I work from a trauma-informed lens and believe that healing begins in a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I tailor therapy to each individual, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing and growth.

While therapy often involves exploring difficult emotions and experiences, I also believe there is room for humour along the way. When appropriate, I enjoy bringing warmth, authenticity, and a little lightness into our conversations. Life can be challenging, and sometimes a genuine laugh can help us feel more connected, human, and hopeful.

In addition to counselling, my background includes case management, advocacy, and supporting individuals in accessing community resources related to housing, finances, and mental health services. My volunteer work across Calgary has further strengthened my passion for helping people build meaningful, fulfilling lives.

When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me spending time with my family, camping, watching hockey, or enjoying the outdoors.

Finding the right therapist is important. To help determine whether we are a good fit, I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation by phone or video. I also offer daytime and evening appointments to support accessibility and flexibility for clients

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Counselling degree, and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

I look forward to supporting you as you move toward greater connection, healing, and growth.
